Air Canada’s Best New Restaurants 2024 Longlist
“Food is an important part of culture and heritage, and by sharing the very best of Canada’s creative culinary scene, we hope to inspire people to seek out great food experiences across our country. In doing so, we are proud to celebrate the best of Canadian talent and support the vitality of Canada’s restaurant and hospitality sector,” Andy Shibata, Vice President, Brand, Air Canada, said in a press release statement.
Here are the six Toronto spots that earned a spot on the longlist:

- Bar Prima: A 75-seat Italian restaurant that’s located at 1136 Queen St W.
- Conejo Negro: Caribbean, Creole & Latin flavours can be found at this restaurant, located on 838 College St.
- Contrada: An Italian-Canadian restaurant on 537 College St.
- Martine’s Wine Bar: A farm-to-table restaurant on 293 Palmerston Ave.
- Mhel: A restaurant offering Korean and Japanese small plates, situated at 276 Havelock St.
- Takja BBQ House: A Korean BBQ spot on 962 College St.
