Smashfest®
The 10th edition of the charity event brings together ping pong, NHL players, and lots of celebrity appearances. Hosted by Dominic Moore (ESPN analyst and former NHL player), Smashfest® is held in support of rare cancer and concussion research. It’s taking place on July 20 and tickets can be purchased online.
5 Seconds of Summer
Head to a concert to catch some tunes. Fans of the Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer can check out the performance at Budweiser Stage on July 20. Tickets are available online.

Fun Philippines Festival
Yet another item on the list of things to do in Toronto is the Fun Philippines Festival. Taking place on July 23 & 24, the two-day street festival will be hosting a variety of musical performances, food trucks, cultural installations and more. Union Summer
Union Summer-presented by TD is taking place until August 28 at 65 Front Street. The outdoor patio event features F&B options from different vendors and performance from local artists for entertainment.
Corktown Common – Outdoor Movie
Watch a movie outdoors for free and enjoy the city skyline at Corktown Common. This is part of the Toronto Outdoor Picture Show’s (TOPS) cultural programme, Curtains Up!
