Happy Monday, folks! Looks like another exciting week lies ahead of us with a whole bunch of different things to do in Toronto. And with the city always bustling with activities, it can be difficult to keep track of, but don’t worry, because we’ve got you covered! Here are some things to do in Toronto this week:
North by Northeast
The annual music and arts festival is taking place this year from June 13-18. Showcases and performances will be happening at over 20 live music venues in the city. The programming list of artists and venues can be found online.
The Mount Sinai 100 Experience
The exhibit is by Sinai Health Foundation in celebration of its 100th anniversary. It’s open to the public on June 14 & 15 at the Art Gallery Ontario. One of the features of the exhibit includes video interpretations and artistic renderings of the story of exclusively female founders who raised money to buy the hospital building (the first Mount Sinai Hospital on Yorkville Avenue).

Tegan and Sara – Crybaby Tour
Catch the musical duo at The Danforth Music Hall on June 15. Tickets for the show can be purchased online.
Filipino Night Market
It’s being held at the Scarborough Town Centre in celebration of Filipino Heritage Month. The theme is “7,000 Islands” and the free-to-attend market is being hosted by the Pinay Tayo organization on June 16 & 17.
Nespresso Vertuo Pop World
This pop-up by Nespresso is to celebrate the launch of the brand’s Vertuo Pop machine, which is its smallest Vertuo. There’ll be four different colours at the pop-up, which is available to attend from June 16-18 at stackt market. More details about the four different colourful environments can be found online.
Taco Fest 2023
Some of the city’s best taco vendors will be at the event from June 16-18 at The Grounds at Hotel X. Some of the 45 vendors include Birria Catrina, Burger Drops x Fonda Balam, Rosalinda, and Kong’s Hot Tacos. Tickets can be purchased online.

Taste of Little Italy
The street festival is happening from June 16-18 from Bathurst Street to Shaw Street. There’ll be live music, different food vendors, entertainment and more.
Toronto Beaches Rib & Beer Fest
This event is part of the Northern Heat Rib Series. The one in The 6ix is taking place at Woodbine Park from June 16-18 and it’s free to attend. There’ll be a selection of musicians performing on all three days, along with a beer market.
Ed Sheeran
The singer will be performing at Rogers Centre on June 17 and tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster.
Na-Me-Res Pow Wow & Indigenous Arts Festival
The free event will feature traditional and contemporary music, dance, artisan and culinary experiences of the First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples of Turtle Island. It’s a City of Toronto event and is happening at Garrison Common at Fort York on June 17 & 18.
The Yorkville Exotic Car Show
Celebrate Father’s Day at this annual car show event in the Bloor-Yorkville area on June 18. It’s free to attend and there’ll be a variety of cars from renowned brands to check out, along with food, fashion and music.

Queer East Social at Café ZUZU
Café ZUZU is launching their monthly Queer East Social initiative this week. Their kickoff event is on June 15. Their goal is to bring together local Queer & Trans organizations and like-minded individuals. Get ready to mingle, support Queer-owned and/or operated businesses, and have a good time!
