Happy Monday folks, hope you’re all feeling well and recharged to begin another week! As you can imagine (and have maybe experienced), it’s been a busy week for us here and for the city, thanks to all the TIFF excitement. And while that’s still happening for the duration of this week too, it’s not the only event that’s got the 6ix bustling. Want to find out more? Here are some things to do in Toronto this week:
CaribbeanTales International Film Festival
Watch a whole range of films from Caribbean and African filmmakers during the event until 23 September. The 17th edition of CTFF features both virtual screenings and live events. The festival pass is priced at $35 and can be purchased online.
Toronto International Fim Festival
TIFF is going strong and there’s a lot more to check out until 18 September. Of course, that also means more celebrities to look out for while attending some of the hottest parties in town. You can visit the website for the full film lineup.

OLG Cinema Park
Check out OLG Cinema Park on Festival Street until September 18 for free, open-air movie experiences at David Pecault Square. There will be nightly film screenings at 10pm, featuring select TIFF Classic movies, along with free snacks.
Sneaker Con Toronto
Sneakerheads, assemble! On September 17 & 18, it’s all things sneakers at Enercare Centre. Not only will you be able to buy sneakers from popular brands, but there’s also going to be eBay Sneaker Live Auctions, eBay grail giveaway, and meet-and-greets with sneaker influencers. Lil Nas X – First-Ever Tour
The US-based rapper is performing at RBC Echo Beach in Toronto as part of his Long Live Montero tour. It’s Lil Nas X’ only Canadian stop for the tour and tickets can be purchased online.
RendezBrews
Sample beer and cider from 50+ craft brands from September 16-18. The event is taking place at RendezViews, in collaboration with the Toronto Craft Beer Festival. General admission ticket prices range from $25 to $40.

The Huddle
NFL Canada is kicking off the 2022/2023 football season! How? With its first and only pop-up sports bar, The Huddle, in Toronto. The pop-up, which will be at 540 King Street West, will be open from September 18-26. You can catch the games, meet NFL players and even take pics with the Lombardi Trophy, which will only be there on 18 & 19. The tickets can be purchased online.
Toronto Ukrainian Festival
Find yourself immersed in Ukrainian culture from September 16-18 at the Bloor West Toronto Ukrainian Festival. There’ll be an immersive exhibit, youth performers, musical events and more.
RELISH The Foodie Event
Head to Cloverdale Mall on September 17 & 18 for food trucks, workshops, and a marketplace with 20 artisan vendors. A variety of cuisines will be available onsite including Asian, Cuban, Caribbean and Hawaiian.
