The evening of New Year’s Eve can be hectic. This means it’s all the more reason to be extra careful when getting between places. That’s one why one Canadian alcohol brand is partnering with the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) to offer Torontonians free and safe rides. This is the ninth year the two companies are collaborating for New Year’s Eve. Keep reading to find out how you can free rides on New Year’s Eve.
About the campaign with Corby Spirit and Wine and the TTC
As part of the campaign, you can get free rides with the buses and subways from December 31 after 7 pm to January 1 until 8 am.
“We encourage everyone to begin their planning by discussing the importance of responsible consumption, not just on New Year’s Eve, but all year round – ensuring we all do our part in getting home,” Nicolas Krantz, President, Chief Executive Officer of Corby, said in a press release statement.

The following are the departure times for the buses and trains:
Line 1 – Yonge University
- North from Union Station towards Finch Station, the last train leaves at 2:31 am
- North from Union Station towards Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Station, the last train leaves at 2:27 am
- South from Finch Station towards Union Station, the last train leaves at 2 am
- South from Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Station towards Union Station, the last train leaves at 1:50 am
Line 2 – Bloor-Danforth
- East from Kipling Station, the last train leaves at 2:15 am
- East or West from Bloor-Yonge Station, the last train leaves at 2:39 am
- West from Kennedy Station, the last train leaves at 2:18 am
Line 4 – Sheppard
