Torontonians take its basketball team (and its sandwiches) very seriously. This year the Toronto Raptors have announced an exciting new partnership. The Raptors and the National Basketball Association (NBA) have a multi-year marketing partnership with a famed fast-food chain. This means there will be enhanced digital content, activations and more.

For the Raptors’ next game, the team is set to face the Boston Celtics in Montreal on October 14th, but there’s another logo that you’ll see at the arena and that’s Subway Canada. The sandwich franchise is now an official partner of the 2022 NBA Canada Series.
Moreover, the two will also be having a “Super Subs” digital series. It showcases the top player performances off the bench during the 2022-23 NBA season.

Subway Canada will also be giving back to Food Banks Canada. How? By donating to the Never Miss Lunch initiative for each point scored by a Raptors bench player. The sandwich chain is also currently having a discount of $3 off wraps in-store and online until October 16 2022 for fans to get in on the season fun.
“We’re excited to work with Subway Canada to create unique experiences for NBA fans across the country,” NBA Canada Managing Director Leah MacNab said in a press release. “Our organizations share a passion for promoting a balanced lifestyle for Canadians through nutrition and engaging Canada’s passionate basketball fans around their love of the game.”
