Halloween fever is officially here, and the buzz around costumes and themed events is growing stronger as the big day approaches. The city is already buzzing with various seasonal celebrations, and there are even more exciting ones on the horizon. Anticipation is building, especially for the return of popular pop-ups and parties that have garnered a devoted following. Halloween pop-up Black Lagoon is back in Toronto
The immersive experience comes with creepy-themed cocktails, spooky decor and more. The pop-up experience was established by Erin Hayes and Kelsey Ramage. The first one was opened in New Orleans in 2019.
Since then, it has hit multiple cities in the US and Canada, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Vancouver. It happens on various dates and weeks over the course of October. This year in Toronto, the pop-up will be from October 17-31. The location? Bar Mordecai.

There will be a different selection of cocktails to try as well. Cocktail names include Death Rattle, The Nightcrawler, and The Book of Blood, among others. Doesn’t sound eerie at all, right?
It is also encouraged to have costumes. Yep, that means you can go all out, whether you’re a seasoned pro at spooky costumes or just want to show off your own unique fits and accessories.
Black Lagoon in Toronto will be at Bar Mordecai, which is situated at 1272 Dundas Street West. You can make reservations online, although they also do accept on a first-come-first-serve basis.
