The restaurant already has two locations in Toronto, with a third one set to open next month. It seems like hip-hop icon Drake knows that the hype is real, having chosen to invest in the brand.

The multiplatinum recording artist, Drake aka @champagnepapi, announced that he found the food to be amazing. The rapper is one of the biggest investors in the LA-based franchise, next to Tom Werner (Boston Red Sox Chairman) and actor Samuel L. Jackson. It’s not the first time Drake has made investments in the food scene. He has also placed his money with brands like MatchaBar and also launched Mod Sélection.

The popular fried chicken chain is known for the tenders, sliders and fries. The menu is short and sweet with a focus on these three items. Customers also have the option to choose the spice level, starting from No Spice all the way to Reaper.
The restaurant will be opening its third Toronto location at Leslieville (1130 Queen Street East) on October 1, 2021. More locations across Canada are set to open sometime next year.
