A decade of swinging into the night! After years of enchanting Canadians with soulful melodies and rhythmic grooves, T.U. Jazz Fest is having its 10th annual festival at Mel Lastman Square in Toronto. Titled “Canada’s Largest Jazz Fest For Emerging Artists”, the event will have two performance stages on-site. There will be a selection of eats and drinks, a masterclass, and more to go with the musical shows.

“We are delighted to announce that of the 150 performers taking place at this 10th annual event, 80% are Ontario-based performers under the age of 35,” David Lee, Artistic Director at T.U. Jazz Fest & Summer Live Music Festival and Executive Director of Emerging Artists Association, said in a press release statement.
Festival goers will be treated to a feature performance by Juno-Award winner Kellylee Evans and Grammy Award nominee Karl Silveira. The masterclass will feature Kellylee Evans, one of the most popular jazz musicians. This will occur on August 31 at the North York Centre Library Auditorium.

T.U. Jazz Fest is free to attend, and it’s operating from August 30 to September 2 at Mel Lastman Square, 5100 Yonge Street, North York.
The 2024 Summer Live Music Festival on the TU Jazz Festival Main Stage includes:
- TJ & The Crew – August 30
- Leo Codiga and the Southwest Corridor – August 31
- Eunice Keitan – September 1
- The Simon Williams Sextet – September 2
- Reach Quartet – September 2

The festival first came to be in 2014 to promote the talent and works of undergraduate students within the city’s jazz community.
