It seems like pop-up restaurants have been all the rage over the past couple of months. With the restaurant industry having to adapt, many are turning to ghost kitchens and pop-up joints. Add to the list, a new Mexican pop-up that’s currently operating out of Project Gigglewater at Dundas Street West.

Classico
Classico’s menu features tacos, burritos, quesadillas and more. The restaurant’s focus is a contemporary take on traditional and authentic Mexican cuisine. You can either get a single tacos or order a trio! The burritos come as wraps or bowls. Want to build your own tacos? Classico also offers taco kits to make at home.
The restaurant has yet another unique twist to it. Every weekend, they team up with different guest chefs to produce a secret menu. Previous ones included Mexican Chef Jorge Rodriguez, Italian Chef Giovanni Caia and Chef Teneisha Anderson. As a part of Classico’s guest chef series, each chef creates two different tacos and a sandwich. Each dish draws inspiration from each chef’s background with a blend of Mexican style and taste.
Try it for Yourself!
Customers can sample the menus only through walk-ins every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-6pm. Orders from the Mexican pop-up for delivery and pick-up can be placed via Uber Eats every Tuesday to Sunday from 4pm-10pm. You can also find their signature condiment Classico Macha by the bottle on Uber Eats or on their website.
