The talk of the town for the travel and hospitality industry most recently has been the coveted Forbes Travel Guide 2024. Every year, the global rating system evaluates many luxury hotels, restaurants and spas across the world to highlight the best experiences for travellers. One of the awardees is the city’s own The St. Regis Toronto, which has been given not one, but two five-star ratings.

“We could not ask for a more exquisite expression of the brand’s legacy of delivering indelible service, bespoke offerings and modern glamour,” Amanda Nichols, Vice President and Global Brand Leader, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, also said in the statement.
It’s not just the spa and hotel itself that were spotlighted. The hotel’s restaurant LOUIX LOUIS, is also the recipient of a rating: Forbes Officially Recommended Restaurant. The restaurant sits on the 31st floor and specializes in American cuisine. LOUIX LOUIS is also home to one of North America’s largest dark spirits collections.
The restaurant has culinary offerings for breakfast, lunch and dinner. One of the signatures for desserts is The King’s Cake, which is a 13-layer chocolate cake with hazelnut chocolate buttercream and vanilla ice cream.
The Forbes Travel Guide uses a wide selection of factors to determine ratings. Every location is assessed anonymously, looking at both service and facility.
