The hot weather means it’s patio season and we know Torontonians love a good patio. If you are hunting for the perfect place to spend your summer days, this Yorkville hotspot is calling your name. W Toronto recently announced the seasonal re-opening of two beautiful spaces to relax and enjoy the sunshine and vibe. If the two spaces aren’t exciting enough, they have also announced the opportunity for guests to book a Marvelous Terrace Room fully equipped with an enclosed terrace.
W Hotel
The Yard
It’s time to head over to Yorkville’s W Hotel and get the summer vibes started. The Yard is W’s urban oasis surrounded by flowers, greenery and a space featuring elements from Missoni Home. With plenty of seating options, guests can relax on bright teal chaise lounges, a luxurious sectional flanked by signature Missoni chevron poofs, low-seated loungers, or group dining tables under draped canopies. You can even lounge in the Missoni hammock with a cocktail in one hand and a book in the other! The Yard is currently open Mondays – Wednesdays from 3 PM-12 AM and Thursdays – Sundays from 12 PM-12 AM.

Skylight Terrace
Enjoy the good life from Skylight Terrace, a posh patio perfect for catching up with friends, people-watching, soaking in the sun and sipping on cocktails or dining on some upscale cuisine. The rooftop bar and restaurant is one of Toronto’s most scenic spots with plush greenery, a view of the city skyline and an ambiance like no other.
The new summer menu features their tradition of Mediterranean-inspired mezze, raw bar and cocktails. Highlights include shareable favourites such as the Grand Royal Tower (a towering seafood platter with oysters, clams, lobster, scallop crudo, king crab legs and more), and new must-haves; Nayea Lamb Tartare (displayed on an iced platter with dill chermoula, caper and preserved lemon emulsion, cured egg yolk and saffron aioli with a crumbled rice cracker) and the Braised Smoky Beef Short Ribs (served with saffron labneh, pomegranate, stewed chickpeas, crispy shallots and saffron herbed rice). Cocktail highlights include Lavender Sky (with Belvedere Vodka, Crème de Violette, Galliano vanilla, fresh lemon juice and edible flowers) and the launch of bottle service including a list of fine selections like Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades Brut and Dom Pérignon Brut.
