In the Toronto Film Festival’s almost 40-year history, male celebrities have often been able to get by with throwing on any ol’ black Hugo Boss or Dior suit and calling it a night. The real stars of the red carpet have traditionally been the women, with baubles and ball gowns and boob jobs galore. Now that it’s the 2010s, however, any male movie mogul who wants to make his way to the top of the Hollywood heap needs to be on top of his menswear game first.

For #TIFF14, the male stars are strutting the red carpet with as much attention to detail (if not more) than the ladies. Favourite styles this autumn among the boys are tailored navy suits, polka dots, textured ties, deep red, all-black-everything, and the suit-and-boot combo.

These are the best-dressed men from TIFF 2014 that we are ogling and objectifying just as much as the girls… if not more #realtalk.
