RBC House returned to the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) this year, with a tighter guest list than ever (trust us). Back for its sixth festival season, RBC House lived up to its reputation as an A-list-packed go-to venue for talent and filmmakers to let loose and celebrate their films. The star-studded affairs all went down at Petros82, in the heart of the city’s entertainment district. RBC House has been held at the venue for the past two years – with a 2023 event that saw Shaq DJ – marking a move away from its previous home at Storeys on Duncan Street.
This year, premium local Toronto brands Alida Tequila, Spirit of York and The Grange of Prince Edward kept guests well-hydrated with their flowing beverage options.
This year’s cast parties included those for “The Cut” (starring Orlando Bloom, John Turturro, and Caitríona Balfe); “The Life of Chuck” (directed by Mike Flanagan and starring Tom Hiddleston ); K-POPS! (directed by and starring Grammy winner Anderson .Paak); “On Swift Horses” (starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Jacob Elordi); and “Riff Raff” (which features an all-star ensemble cast of Ed Harris, Gabrielle Union, Jennifer Coolidge, and Bill Murray).

Notable highlights included Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry — an appreciated surprise at this year’s festival — chatting with guests at “The Cut” fete. The “Life of Chuck” party saw Tom Hiddleston lead a dance party. At the “K-POPS!” celebration, Anderson .Paak and his son Soul Rasheed were mingling with the crowd and dancing with Toronto’s 6ix Mom, Andrea Bolley, a TIFF party scene fixture (IYKYK).
Another memorable cast party, this time for “Riff Raff,” saw world-renowned artist Diplo give a surprise performance. Meanwhile, Bill Murray was in good spirits, both taking his turn in the DJ booth and offering guests steak skewers and fries. Inevitably, Jennifer Coolidge was a crowdpleaser in her own right, stopping to snap pictures with fans. Read all about what went down at the “Riff Raff” party here.
It was also home to the Black Academy Legacy Awards Gala: Hosted by Shamier Anderson and Stephan James. A high-energy affair, The Legacy Awards party was even extended because guests were having such a good time and no one wanted to leave. Marking an extension of RBC’s multi-year commitment to The Black Academy programming, this celebration of Black Canadian talent returns ahead of The Legacy Awards later in September.
In addition to film premiere parties, programming for RBC House included the Los Angeles Times Studios presented by RBC, which welcomed some of the festival’s biggest names for interviews and photography.
