Mongrel Media, Canada’s leading independent film distributor, has set up a special TIFF 2015 house to celebrate the 20 films they have showing at this year’s film festival. Being held in The Campbell House Museum at Queen and University from Sept. 10 to the 17, we checked out the vibe of its opening weekend.
The house has been beautifully curated and features an outdoor biergarten with food stations from Cheesewerks, feasTO, Phillips Ice Pops and Station Cold Brew, as well as different musical acts playing nightly by Universal Music Canada. Inside the house, guests can let off some TIFF steam by singing their hearts out in the karaoke room, or playing ping pong in the basement lounge.
