Day two of TIFF celebrations continued to be in full swing! With movie premiere parties and styling it up with class among Toronto’s best dressed, there was certainly a lot of exciting things on the move.

World Class Presents The World Premiere Party for The Friend at Kost, Toronto
TIFF stars were spotted celebrating at Bisha Hotel’s rooftop restaurant KŌST for the world premiere of The Friend. Directed by Gabriela Cowperthwaite, the cast including Dakota Johnson, Jason Segel, Isabella Kai, Marielle Scott, and producers Kevin Walsh, Teddy Schwarzman, Michael Pruss and Ryan Stowell celebrated their film’s premiere.

Nordstrom Supper Suite Day 1
Prior to going to the world premiere for their film BLACKBIRD directed by Roger Mitchell, cast members Susan Sarandon, Sam Neill and Rainn Wilson, gathered at The Nordstrom Supper Suite at MARBL Restaurant for an intimate dinner party that was popped off with a champagne toast courtesy of Marriot Bonvoy.
The Rest Of Us with Heather Graham, Sophie Nélisse (Mean Dreams), Jodi Balfour (The Crown) and Abigail Pniowsky enjoyed the Ciroc cocktail party following their world premiere. Special guests included Canadian fashion designers Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared2 and Greta Constantine.
The Other Lamb with Raffey Cassidy (Tomorrowland) and Michiel Huisman (Game of Thrones) celebrated their world premiere with an intimate cocktail party.

Canadian Talent in Film, Fashion and Media Celebrate Nine Films at Mongrel House on Night Two
Hosted by Mongrel Media, night two celebrated the following Mongrel Media films: The Climb, Cunningham, Easy Land, Frankie, Knives Out, Pain and Glory, Pompei, The Traitor and The Whistlers.
Notable guests included design duo Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan, Actor Huse Madhavji, Citynews reporter Adrian Ghobrial, CP24 Meteorologist Bill Coulter, CP24 Breakfast’s Gurdeep Ahluwalia, Senior Producer Chris Flak, Juno award-winner Sean Jones and pop-singer Victoria Azevedo.

Toronto Life & FASHION’s Best Dressed 2019 presented by NARS
Everyone brought their A game to this year’s Toronto Life and FASHION’s annual Best Dressed party. It’s one of the must-attend TIFF events, with NARS as the presenting partner, honouring 25 of Toronto’s most amazing dressers. It was also the launch of the new formulation of NARS’ signature lipstick.
