The Virgin Mobile Arts & Cinema Centre at AMC Storys (say that ten times fast) was one of the hottest spots during TIFF this year. The after-parties, premiere parties, industry cocktails, et to the cetera hosted at this TIFF pop-up had some of the top tier talent in attendance. On Sunday, we popped by to check out the pre-premiere cocktail party red carpet event for Fitzgerald Family Christmas, Edward Burns’ new film about family dysfunction. (Side note: they’d only finished the final cut of the film for the fest on TIFF’s opening day.)
Sam Millar was on the carpet doing what she does best: being British and sexy and inviting. She chatted with Mr. Ed and the principal cast, and here’s what the lovely folk said of the film, Toronto, and working together…

…PS We got to go inside for the after-party for the Writers premiere, which stars Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Connelly, and the gorgeous Lily Collins. What happened in there? While we can’t tell you much, what we can say is that the Storys team did an amazing job with the food (I had one of the best mushroom pastas I’ve ever enjoyed, prime rib, cheesecake lollipops, Calabrese salad, and so much more) and the Grolsch was never wanton…
