NKPR is easily one of the top firms in the city. Natasha Koifman (founder and president) is one of those classy yet cool women entrepreneurs that you can’t help but respect. (And, let’s be honest, envy.) She’s built a league of smart, sophisticated, and savvy publicists to handle NKPR’s legion of equally smart, sophisticated, and savvy clients.
During TIFF, Natasha opens up the NKPR offices and hosts quite probably the slickest lounge during the festival: The It Lounge. Different than many a gifting suite, the It Lounge is an experiential space where celebs and A-listers get to interact with brands in a way their busy schedules simply won’t allow. Take the Tweezerman set-up for mid-day primping, or the RW&Co. collection sampling, or the STiKS Gaming Challenge for Charity. (Be sure to check STiKS out, it’s a wicked concept.)
This year, as NKPR celebrated its 10-year anniversary, Natasha decided to go all out for the It Lounge (though she always does anyhow) and worked with Patrick Demarchelier on the photo studio that’s hosting a slew of Canadian photographic talent to take the portraits of the stars during their It Lounge visit. (And today had Patrick himself working the camera for the guests.)
