There’s nothing like film festival season in Toronto, especially when it’s the iconic Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). It’s usually a star-studded frenzy with celebrity appearances, not just for premieres and the red carpet but in various Toronto hotspots as well. Yet, the festival offers more than just star sightings. Amidst the movie screenings and special restaurant menus, TIFF turns the streets into a vibrant celebration. One highlight of the festival is its multi-day street party, featuring a lineup of musicians.

The film festival’s annual street party is an exciting tradition. This year is just as significant for the event, with a whole bunch of different artists being part of the lineup. And yes, one of them is the popular Canadian rock band, Nickelback, who will be putting on a free concert.
The band is here at TIFF this year for the world premiere of their documentary, HATE TO LOVE: NICKELBACK. Their open-air concert is set to happen after the screening of the documentary, both of which are taking place on September 8.

South African rapper Sho Madjozi, and Finn Wolfhard’s band The Aubreys, are also included in the lineup of performers. The former will put on a show on September 9 during the evening, while the latter will perform in the afternoon on the same day.
