Coffee chain, Tim Hortons is unveiling a new addition to its locations – brand-new artwork inspired by the beauty of Canada. Crafted by a Toronto-based artist, these pieces are meant to showcase the country’s expansive natural heritage. Already gracing select Tims locations, these unique artworks will continue to adorn more spaces in the coming months. Keep reading to find out more about the artwork.
Av Wu’s Coffee Styles Collection at Tim Hortons
Toronto-based artist Av Wu introduces the Coffee Styles Collection, featuring 10 lively pieces inspired by the distinctive beauty of Canada and the everyday moments cherished by Canadians at Tims.
“I took inspiration from the natural beauty and cultural richness of Canada for this collection. My work reflects my deep appreciation for the country’s diverse landscapes, from the rugged mountains of the west coast to the vast boreal forests of the North,” Av Wu said in a press release statement.

Wu’s expertise is as a multi-disciplinary artist and designer. She has created artwork for various brands and spots across the city throughout her career. She blends dream-like doodles, simple iconography and clean-cut shapes, which are all part of the signature in her work.
There are 10 pieces in the collection overall. They display a colourful variation of Canadian outdoor activities like skiing, canoeing and enjoying sunsets. There are also images of the Rocky Mountains and the Bruce Peninsula in Ontario.
“The Coffee Styles Collection is another celebration of Canadian nature and communities that fits perfectly into our latest restaurant design concepts. I can’t wait for Av’s work to be unveiled in more and more Tims restaurants across Canada and be enjoyed by our guests,” Brian Noviski, Vice President of Architecture and Design for Tim Hortons, said in the statement.

So when you grab your next cup of Tims, you might stumble across some of the art.
Tim Hortons has also already teamed up with Wu to create a mural about the Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. You can start to see them on display at Tim Hortons location in 2024.
