Cheers to the start of another week, Toronto! It has definitely been a welcome sight to see the city getting back its full swing of things in the restaurant scene. Even more so now that indoor dining is up and running again. Of course, the love for patios is still ongoing, given that its very much still summer vibes all around. Here are our top 6 patios of the week:

Queen Mother Cafe

The cozy spot has been a Toronto staple since 1978. They are well-known for their Laotian and Thai dishes. Their menu features everything from seafood hot pot and noodle bowl to walnut salad and Laotian spring rolls. The patio is open daily (except Mondays) from noon and reservation details can be found online here.

Must haves: Ping Gai Chicken and the Shrimp & Chicken Pad Thai

Happy Coffee and Wine

If you’re looking for a coffee joint with a welcoming backyard patio, then this is your spot. Along with coffee and wine, they also serve a variety of dishes like burgers and salads. The patio is open daily (except Sundays) from 9 am to 11 pm.

Must haves: Shrimpy Burger, Iced Coffee

Mercado Negro

Sample the vibrant flavours of Portuguese cuisine with Mercado Negro. Their patio is highlighted by wooden picnic tables against the St. Clair West backdrop. The menu features dishes like Chilean Sea Bass, Salmon Gravlax and more. The patio is open Tuesday to Saturday from 12 pm to 3 pm and from 4:30 pm too 9:30 pm. On Sundays, they are open from 12 pm to 4 pm and closed on Mondays. Reservations can be made via phone.

Lahore Tikka House

Get your Northern Indian and Pakistani food cravings satisfied at this Little India hotspot at Danforth. Whether its kebabs, biryani, traditional street food; you name it, they’ve got it. Their patio is open Monday to Friday from 5:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12:30 pm.

Marben

Another one on our patios of the week is this farm-to-table restaurant that serves Canadian fare with a modern and elegant twist. Customers can find a variety of snacks, small plates and large plates to share. The restaurant also has an exciting menu for desserts. Their patio is open Tuesday to Sunday and reservations can be made online here.

Superpoint Pizza

Located on Ossington, the patio is the perfect spot to enjoy some pizza, pasta and wine this summer. They have over seven flavour options when it comes to their pizza, along with dishes like rigatoni, clam limone bucatini and more. Their patio is open every Thursday to Sunday for lunch from 12 pm to 4 pm and daily for dinner from 5 pm to 10 pm. No reservations required.
