Mermaid Pink Gin
Not only is the bottle of this gin gorgeous, but the taste is divine! The name was inspired by it’s lead botanical rock samphire, known locally as ‘mermaid’s kiss’. This aromatic succulent clings to the cliffs surrounding the Island and marks the high tide line on its majestic beaches. Like the kiss of the mythical mermaid, saving sailors lost at sea, the rock samphire was a signal that shipwrecked sailors and smugglers were safe from the raging seas.
This spirit has a large focus on sustainability in it’s ethos. The brand is diligently working on becoming a carbon net-zero company and also working with the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust – to monitor and restore seagrass meadows in the waters surrounding their island home for seagrass rejuvenation and works with With One Seed, a community forestry social enterprise that works to replant forests, one seed at a time. Now that’s a true commitment.
FoxHeart Whisky
If you love whisky – you’re going to really love Foxheart Whisky. A fun and innovative expression, this golden liquid brings together the finest Canadian whisky with an infusion of premium 12-year-old Caribbean rum. How does it taste? I certainly loved it! It was well-rounded with a hint of oak, spice and fruit. The name comes from Master Blender, Bill Ashbur love for his other great passion – world champion dog breeding. Foxheart is the name that’s also home to his world champion dogs, and imbues a life spent delivering the extraordinary – now available to you! It makes a great gift for the dog or whisky lover in your life.
Ren Vodka
A new ultra-premium spirit hand-crafted in Ontario newly launched at the LCBO is REN Vodka. With delicate aromas and flavours of citrus, sweet corn, and grain this beautifully designed bottle is unforgettable. REN, meaning “to be reborn”, the bottle is statuesque and features an elegant phoenix motif to signify rising from the ashes just in time to usher in a new era of refinement and a collective.
