It couldn’t be more true that when one door closes, another one opens. It was announced earlier this month that beloved fave Topshop and Topman would be sadly shutting their doors at Hudson’s Bay stores across the country this fall. However, with this news, there is a silver lining because as of June 11, Forever 21 clothing will be available to purchase at select Hudson’s Bay stores.
Back in September of 2019, Forever 21 filed for bankruptcy and closed all of its stores in Canada. But that wasn’t the end because the chain retailer did launch a website for us Canadians to shop from.

One Door Closes, Another Door Opens
“As we continue to transform our business, Hudson’s Bay is creating exciting depth to its fashion matrix, with coveted brands and curated experiences that provide Millennial and Gen Z style-seekers with a destination to find fashion that suits their lifestyle,” Wayne Drummond, Chief Merchant at Hudson’s Bay said in a release.
Forever 21 is available to shop at Hudson’s Bay locations at Yorkdale Shopping Centre and Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga. There are plans to roll out the brand nationwide but so far, no date has been set. If you’re not quite ready to do some in-store shopping, the brand’s collection is expected to be shoppable online by mid-summer.
If Forever 21 isn’t your jam, then you should know that Hudson’s Bay has added other brands to its roster in recent months. Hudson’s Bay has added additional brands like Mango Men, Sanctuary, Sweaty Betty, and AFRM to name just a few. Plus there are more on the way like BDG by Urban Outfitters, Jack & Jones Premium, Wild Pony and more.
