As an A-list-filled Opening Weekend draws to a close, the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) continues to infuse the city with that distinct TIFF-time energy. Of course, at the front and centre of the red carpet and party-packed festival are the films themselves. This year, TIFF features 278 films from filmmakers around the world. We turned to Toronto-based director Justin Wu – a VIBE cover star alumni and rising star in the TV and film worlds – for a little help in generating a list of must-see TIFF 2024 films.
