Eff Diagon Alley because Toronto may have just one-upped that with our very own Food Truck Alley! With all the backlash surrounding the food truck by-laws, Food Truck Alley has emerged at 141 Queen Street East (Queen and Jarvis) in efforts to help support independent food trucks and raise awareness about Toronto’s fantastic street food scene.
For the month of July, Food Truck Alley will host two food trucks every Wednesday through Friday for the lunch hours between 11am and 4pm. If this alley becomes the hotspot of July (and we’re hoping it does), they just might extend their hours to the evenings and weekends.

Along with food trucks setting up shop on Queen East, Toronto’s west side just might be getting it’s own food truck joint at 7 Morrison Street, near Adelaide and Brant. Aptly named King West Eats, this lot will be home to 8 food trucks for 7 days a week.
Here’s to Toronto’s street food scene, and here’s hoping that Food Truck Alley is as successful as anticipated.
