The first edition of the Food & Wine Festival, held at Evergreen Brickworks, was a huge success and we’ve got some mouth-watering photos of the most delectable offerings guests were privy to. With an expected attendance of over 50,000 people from both the GTA and outside, the first Toronto Food & Wine Festival was no disappointment.
From top chefs including Jason Bangerter, David Hawksworth, Matty Matheson, Chuck Hughes and more, the lineup was stellar. On the first evening, a pig roast competition like no other attracted hundreds who watched some of Toronto’s top chefs compete to produce the best “cochon.” Congratulations to Chef Ponzo of Le Select for his win!
Aside from a few hiccups with the food sampling ticket stations, the three-day event was executed flawlessly and we were there to capture all the deliciousness.
