It’s exciting times ahead for soccer fans in Toronto! The city has been selected as one of the 16 sites for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and it’s not the only Canadian city to make the cut. Vancouver is on the list as well, while Edmonton didn’t make it past the short list. It’s of course a huge deal for Toronto for many reasons. One of the biggest being that it makes it the first time that Canada would be playing host to the famed soccer event.
