If you’ve been dreaming of a Parisian night full of Cabaret, you won’t need to dream much longer. You can ditch the flight across the ocean however as Toronto is officially getting a French-style cabaret. Think sexy, sensual, empowering, and thoughtfully choreographed movement. Although the new cabaret is still in the making, you can start to get excited for the new year now. From food to drinks to speakeasy vibes and music, Triangle d’Or Cabaret is expected to have it all.
What you need to know about Triangle d’Or Cabaret
You won’t need to venture off to France in the new year when you’re craving a Cabaret visit. Instead, you can enjoy Toronto’s newest speakeasy spot, Triangle d’Or Cabaret. The French-style cabaret is set to open its doors on May 10, 2024, according to their website. Although very little information has been announced, their site has explained the following:
“Triangle d’Or” is a French-style cabaret that showcases the beauty of the human body through sensually choreographed performances, accentuated by the use of lights to elegantly drape the performers.

It combines music and sensuous movement, all within an environment that includes food and beverages.”
With a mission to showcase the beauty of the human body through sensual choreography and a stunning light show, this is a Cabaret you won’t want to miss. Founded by dancer Meydge Anguiley, Triangle d’Or Cabaret is being led by a woman with extensive dance and hospitality experience which leads me to believe Toronto is in for an amazing time with the opening of her Cabaret.
On October 21st, the Cabaret hosted its first round of auditions. In their audition posting, they announced that “Triangle d’Or cabaret is seeking dancers, actors, performing artists, models, between the ages of 18 and 60 who are comfortable with movements and nudity. BIPOC artists to the front. This cabaret seeks to encompass performers of all sizes and across the gender spectrum to create an exciting and emotive journey for the audience.” Although the recent audition date has passed, stay tuned on Instagram for future announcements!
