Apparently, Toronto isn’t cold enough because locals are craving cold plunges so much that the city’s favourite wellness hub, Othership, has announced the opening of its second location. If you’ve explored Toronto’s wellness scene, chances are you’ve been to Othership. From yogis to biohackers and everyone in between, Othership has become the city’s top-visited wellness space for cold immersion, sauna, breathwork and community. They offer classes from 7 am, evening classes and even late-night weekend guided journeys. Not only has Othership become routine for many but it has become a spot to rejuvenate, meditate, connect and expand with like-minded people. If you’ve been wanting to visit the space or have been looking for additional chances to go, you’ll be happy to hear their Yorkville space is coming soon.
Meet, Othership Yorkville
It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for…Othership Yorkville is opening on November 15th! After much anticipation, sold-out classes and a growing community of cold immersion lovers, Othership is finally opening its much-needed second location in Yorkville. Located in the heart of the neighbourhood at 110 Bloor Street West, you can expect the same inviting and relaxing environment with twice the physical space.
Their new sauna will officially be the largest in Toronto with a 90-person capacity so get ready to sweat with a community of wellness lovers! At over 5,000 square feet, the space is expected to fuel hundreds of journeyers daily with the intention of deep transformation, growth and community. The new location will also include 8 ice baths that maintain a temperature of 1 degree Celsius and a 505 square foot tea room.

“Our second location is a testament to Torontonians’ desire for spaces to connect with themselves and their communities,” said Robert Bent, co-founder and CEO of Othership. “As a society, we’re starting to think much more about how much our emotional state impacts not only our physical health, but day-to-day life. Othership’s unique take on hot and cold therapy has helped tens of thousands of people de-stress and transform their relationships.”
With so much demand in the city, classes are always booked well in advance so it comes as no surprise the company was able to secure over $10M in venture funding with key backers including early investors in Headspace, as well as the founders of Soul Cycle, Daybreaker and Shawn Mendes. If Shawn Mendes trusts Othership, so should you.
