In 21st, Civil Liberties
A mainstay on 50 best lists across North America and the world, Civil Liberties is a Bloor Street gem with no shortage of chill vibes and no set menu. Bartenders work with your preferences and dislikes to concoct a cocktail that feels personal – just the way we like it. It’s also been voted Canada’s best bar more than once, with good reason. It tops the Canadian bars on the 50 best list, slotting into the 21st spot.
In 29th, Bar Pompette
Claiming the 29th spot, this French bar is run by the same restaurateurs as the other namesake outposts on the Little Italy block – Pompette and Bakery Pompette. It transports guests to the sophisticated cafes and wine bars of France, and boasts an open-air back patio with tons of greenery. It was named last year’s winner of the Disaronno Highest New Entry Award, and remains celebrated for its flavourful cocktails – both modern and classic – served both on tap and made to order.
