Big Daddy’s
Not so much of a limited time special as an everyday bit of awesome. Come in at your convenience, but understand that despite the seafood coma you’re about to be in, it’s still unacceptable to sleep under the table. Big Daddy’s shellfish boil boasts a half lobster, snow crab, shrimp, mussels and chorizo sausage boiled with red skin potatoes and corn on the cob. For seafood fiends and competitive eaters alike, this is one big bowl of bountiful glory.
Cool City Oyster Yard
The new Sudbury Street seafood spot is serving up the spiny little suckers better known as crawfish by the bucketful – more precisely, by the pound. Creole seasoning, herb butter, kielbasa, fried onions, fingerling potatoes and corn are all married together in this Bayou inspired crawfish boil. If you’re lacking in a li’l of that down home dinner action, Cool City Oyster Yard will have you set with the sweetest serving of mudbugs in the city.
Rodney’s Oyster House
Coming up on Sunday, July 21st from 2pm to 10pm, the Sultan of Seafood himself, Mr. Rodney Bower is hosting his annual Ontario Oyster Festival. While you can always experience exceptional oysters at this King West institution, one of the most exiting aspects of this year’s festival is their lobster boil. If you’re looking for more than just a lobster-centric meal, $35 will get you two drinks along with a half dozen oysters or coq au vin. #yummers
The Whippoorwill
After a successful trial run, The Whippoorwill is boiling up the best thing to come out of Nova Scotia since Sid the Kid. If you’re fiending for a full pound and a half of the pink puppies of the sea, then shell out 65-shillings and scarf on that East Coast glory until your buttons begin to burst! For now, this lobster dinner along with all the fixin’s is only available on Thursday, August 1st. So, get your reservations for this limited time seafood extravaganza in early – they’re bound to go about as fast as the food.
