Fashion-forward friends and art lovers, this one’s for you. Toronto has long been known for having an eclectic and diverse art and fashion scene. From funky street styles to high-end couture, the city’s fashion artists know how to get it all done. So it’s no surprise that The 6ix is also home to one of the most anticipated multi-arts fashion events of the season. So grab your double-shot espresso, put on your quirkiest and stylish outfit and let’s dive into it.
What you need to know about Fashion Art Toronto
The four-day event is set to take place from November 16-19. Known for being the city’s longest-running multi-arts fashion week, this time it’s at Black Creek Assembly, which is a 20,000-square-foot industrial warehouse.
Attendees will have different things to look forward to including runway shows, fashion presentations and art installations. This year will also have the first-ever Club Catwalk. And yes, it’s just as it sounds, with partygoers dancing and grooving to the beats on the runway. This is happening on November 17, starting from 11 pm.

“We have an incredible season planned for November with Canadian designers, artists and creatives who are pushing boundaries, breaking norms and making statements with their work,” Vanja Vasic, founder and executive director, of Fashion Art Toronto, said in a press release statement.
For this edition, Fashion at Toronto Metropolitan University has teamed up with Fashion Art Toronto to feature BIPOC student work on the runway on November 19, led by designer Mic Cartner of L’Uomo Strano.
Other show highlights include:
- Fashion & Beauty Boutique: Apparel, jewellery, accessories and beauty products from Canadian artisans and brands
- Boutique Pop-Up: A curated collection of black-owned fashion, accessories, beauty and lifestyle brands
- Retail Pop-up & Exhibition: Local designers and apparel brands
