Hogtown Pub & Oysters
A staff-hosted trivia hootenanny with an ever-changing weekly theme. Saunter in on a Sunday night and test your trivia with great friends, old and new. Entry is free and they’ve got DVDs up for grabs.

Habits Gastropub
Running every Monday at 7:30pm starting on February 25th, Habits is providing the proving ground for the serious trivia teamsters. Hosted by Pub Stumpers’ Kris Doyle, this is the chance to get your organized trivia game in check through league-tracked play, or just show up for a good time and their answer to one of the best burgers in Toronto!

Cheesewerks: Food Fight Trivia Night
This is where food culture and pop culture are whisked together. Grab a team of 4-6 players and put your mind where your mouth is! Two bucks a player and you can win cash prizes plus swag for top teams. Food and drink specials for all! Registration is required.

Stout Irish Pub
Tuesday night is Nerd Night at Stout! Another Pub Stumpers weekly extravaganza – hit them up at 7:30pm for frosty pints and booze-fueled brain teasers.

The Gladstone Hotel’s Melody Bar
Show up on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30pm for one of the most revered trivia nights in Toronto. Formerly all Simpsons trivia, their revamped rotational TV themed trivia is fit for the unfit child in all of us. See, TV is good for something. Take that, Mom! No cover, and drink specials and treats to those who dress up!

Cardinal Rule
Wednesdays at 8pm, win the prized Golden VHS tape, comic books from the Silver Snail, exceptional DVDs, as well as epic Mill Street Brewery swag. Come ready to demolish their drink specials. The Drake Hotel
Get your midweek trivia game on! Every Wednesday, Terrance Balazo will try and break your brains open, with an $80 Drake gift card up for grabs. Teams of 4 or less and $2 entry.

3030 Dundas West and Junction Craft Brewing
This pair makes a trivia baby together every Wednesday night! A dozen craft beers on tap, tasty bites out of the kitchen, and they even screen the night’s episode of Jeopardy after the session ends. Now you can try and convince yourself you’re smart by shouting out answers just after the on-air contestants do.

The Ossington
The former home of Simpsons trivia, The Ossington opened up their Sunday nights to Brass Facts Trivia. Can you crush the craniums of quizmasters Kirk and Marty? No cover, 7-10pm.

The Magpie
This joint offers up a mixed bag of miscellaneous trivia alongside tap beers and truly good times. One Thursday a month from 8-10pm. Entry is $10 and the pot is split between the members of your 1-6 player team.

For those who fear being ostracized by strangers, or have spent so much time studying old Jeopardy reels alone in the basement and fear strangers altogether, there are options aplenty for some self-sustained trivia nights out.

Head to Snakes & Lattes on Bloor for beers, bagels and one of the most bad-ass selections of board games in the city. And Go Lounge on Queen West can get a little crazy on Friday nights when $5 tallboys of PBR and 50 are funnelling through the room.
