If you’ve been keeping an eye on the city’s food scene for the summer, you know there’s a whole host of special events happening. This one in particular is an exciting partnership between two popular restaurants in Toronto. Burger Drops is teaming up with Aloette to unveil a special menu that’ll only be available for one day. This even includes a burger item just for the occasion.

The collaboration is being done for the Give Me Liberty Street Festival. The burger itself is called The Liberty Burger. The anticipated dish is complete with a 5.5 oz Ontario beef patty, ketchup relish, griddled onions, cheddar cheese and lettuce on a potato bun. This will be available on June 23 only from 4pm – 10pm, so make sure you don’t miss out.
In case you’re wondering what the festival is all about, let me give you a rundown. Taking place on Fraser Avenue, the one-day event is set to host over 50 vendors, all from the Liberty Village neighbourhood. So you guys know what this means. There’ll be a range of flavourful dishes, entertainment activities, and it’s pet-friendly as well!

The drinks portion of the event will include beverages from the two beer vendors, which are Big Rock Brewery and Something in the Water Brewing Co. The two have also teamed up for ‘Liberty Wheatwave’, for wheat beer.
