How to get to Toronto Pride this year?
The question we all dread, but necessary. First and foremost, we highly recommend you don’t drive, for many reasons. There’s not a lot of parking options. Highly recommended that you take transit over to the village.
By transit
Head to Wellesley station which is on the Yonge St. line. Got off and head east along Wellesley and you will arrive in the centre of it all. If you’re heading to the parade, you can get off at Yonge-Bloor station, or anything south of that until Queen station along the Yonge St. line. One of our favourites is College Station.

By bike
IYKYK, we love a good bike ride. Thankfully using the Bike Share Toronto program makes it super easy to get to, or our of the village Toronto Pride festival area. We recommend using the app to check the bike loads so you can head to the right bike stop to pick up or drop off your bike and not be disappointed when you arrive.
By foot
If you can, get those steps in hunny, because its going to be BUSY.
By car
Just don’t. You can thank us later. Traffic, parking and getting anywhere in a vehicle around pride weekend will be a nightmare. But if you are not looking to break a sweat, the better option is ride share apps like Uber and Lyft. They will have designated drop off and pickup areas on the app due to the road closures.

The vibe is generally more of the professional after-work crowd who wants to mix and mingle. It is also a place to see and greet the who’s who of the gay community.
Disco Disco at The 519 Green Space – Barbara Hall Park, June 27th, from 5pm until 12am. This is another Green Space Festival free event, but this time on Thursday night to carry on the party from Starry Night the night before. Disco Disco will be more of a party with DJs such as Horse Meat Disco.

Street food/food trucks
Church Street and parts of Wellesley Street will be closed for the annual Pride Street Fair, which will include some delicious food vendors. Walk around and let your nose guide you.
O’Grady’s
At the corner of Church St and Maitland, in the hub of it all, O’Grady’s has now an extended patio, with lots of space, decent service and the food selections aren’t bad either. The trick is order two drinks at a time, because by the time you catch the server, you will be done your first. The wings are delicious, the nachos are great to share.
Church St. Garage Resto-Bar, aka “Garage”
On the opposite corner of O’Grady’s is Garage, with literally a Garage door open to the side walk where you have most likely seen queens dangling in the window. Serving up good vibe, a decent patio out front and the drinks and eats are good too.

The Church Moose
Just south of Garage is The Church Moose bar. A great watering hole but they serve up decent bar food too. Cuz we gotta be responsible, right. 😉
Storm Crow Manor
A nerd bar, that also has an outdoor patio, right outside this historic mansion looking building. They got a creative menu and bunch of nerdy named drinks that are worth a taste. If you have it in you, try your luck and the shot dice.
Outside of The Village options
The Village will be packed with people and it will be super busy, so consider the following out-of-the-village options too, if you feel like escaping the craziness for a quiet meal.
The Keg Mansion
Eating at this mansion just outside of the village, is a unique dining experience. The Keg serves American cuisine and is best known for their steak.

Bloor-Yorkville area
Literally a 15 minute walk from the village and offers a plethora of dining options like, ONE at the Hazelton Hotel, Bar Reyna, Kasa Moto (the patio is epic), Amal, and so much more.
