Produced by Tourism Vancouver, Dine Out Vancouver is Canada’s largest food and drink festival and is always a huge hit. It makes dining out post-holiday hangover easier on the budget.
With 264 restaurants (and counting) already signed up to participate in this year’s festival, they’ve already broken a record. The full Dine Out Vancouver list will officially be made public as of January 7, so until then we’ll leave you with some sweet sounding festival details to tide you over.
This year, DOVF is set to launch their new Club Amuse-bouche, offering guests a VIP experience. The Grand Tasting On Granville Island is back and guaranteed to sell out – it’s just that popular. This grand gala opening party offers an exclusive after-hours opportunity to taste the best of Granville Island, the Wines of British Columbia, and Canadian Dairy cheese within the unique Public Market atmosphere. You’ll also feast on the finest offerings, courtesy of Granville Island’s many restaurants and culinary teams.
Another new event to DOVF is the International Chef Exchange, taking place on January 18. The exchange is a collaboration of two great food and drink festivals and is a unique opportunity for guests to feast on delicious meals hosted by two of Vancouver’s best vegetarian restaurants: the award-winning, UK-based Terre à Terre from Brighton, and Vancouver’s The Parker.
