Over the past several months there’s been plenty of activity in West Vancouver’s go-to shopping destination, Park Royal. A long-time favourite spot for locals, the announcement of a pretty aggressive expansion has definitely led to an increase in visitors (including the Vancouver VTV team who’ve more than dropped a dime here).
Three new stores recently opened their doors at this swanky and spacious retail centre this month alone: Faubourg Paris Café; Aritzia’s massive new flagship store; and Five Guys Burgers and Fries are all in business and guaranteed to pique a multitude of appetites and interests.
Faubourg Paris Café brings a taste of France to the heart of West Vancouver with a menu loaded with exquisite pastries, sweets, coffees and savoury gourmet items (to help boost your energy to keep trolling the boutiques).

You’ll need that energy when you make your way over to Aritzia’s splashy flagship space (all 7,000 square-feet of it). Very much a west coast brand, Aritzia’s first store was located across Marine Drive at Park Royal South; this move and expansion will showcase their expansive curated collection of beautifully designed clothing and includes all exclusive brands like TNA, Talula, Wilfred and more.
Tucked in between the new ZARA and Kin’s Farm Market, shoppers can now satiate their appetites further by popping into Five Guys Burgers and Fries for a quality comfort food fix. We’re already fans of their straight-up cheeseburgers and fresh cut fries, so the idea of nabbing a quick greasy fix while on the go has us hungry already.
Under construction, but set to open in the near future is a new Glowbal Group restaurant, Trattoria (Italian Kitchen), as well as a massive 8,000 square-foot private liquor store (from the Liquor Store’s N.A. Group which owns Liquor Barns and Dundarave Wine Cellar to name a couple).

Other spots to head to when looking to get your shop-on at the newly expanded Park Royal South location: Sephora, Ann Taylor’s LOFT, J.Crew, Anthropologie, and The Men’s Club.
Finally, as if all this retail news wasn’t enough to have you planning a trip over the Lion’s Gate Bridge this weekend, later this year expect to see the addition of a new White Spot, Urban Outfitters, Bath & Body Works, Town Shoes and Brown’s to the revamped retail space.
