If you’ve got an exceptionally large crew joining you for the holidays or can’t make it home for your own turkey dinner, rest assured that Vancouver has a bevy of spots open and serving up festive brunch and dinner feasts. Bonus: you don’t have to bother with any of the fuss or clean up.
Bacchus Restaurant
Bacchus Restaurant at the Wedgewood Hotel is one of our go-to favourites when on the hunt for a holiday feast. After you’ve ravished the stockings, opened presents, and worked up an appetite, head to this cozy downtown spot with the family for a healthy serving from their a la carte brunch menu or book in for the three-course turkey lunch. Executive Chef David Hassellwill has also prepped a four-course Christmas dinner feast. Find details here.
Dockside Restaurant
Dockside Restaurant is a stunning spot to land on Christmas Day for either brunch or dinner — they’ll be serving up a feast for both occasions. With a waterfront location on Granville Island, the vantage point doesn’t get much better. Dig into the goods at their Chilled Market, omelette station, carvery, and save room for the dessert buffet — it is fully loaded.

Hart House Restaurant
Hart House Restaurant is serving a holiday feast not to be missed at its picturesque lakeside location. Enjoy a three-course Christmas menu ($65.00 per person) created by Chef Mike Genest, loaded up with festive favourites such as turkey and winter vegetable soup, smoked beef tartare, buttermilk poached turkey breast with all the fixings, and more.
Hawksworth Restaurant
Hawksworth Restaurant has crafted an exquisite-sounding menu (priced at $100.00 per person) just in time for a Christmas feast. Book a table and ditch the kitchen in favour of tucking into their four-course Christmas menu. Nosh on options including: an elegant yellow fin tartare and kaffir coconut sorbet with white soy and nasturtium; butter poached lobster, potato gnocchi, wild mushroom, and lobster emulsion; Alberta ribeye, smoked brassica, brown butter potato, leek, bordelaise and bacon-wrapped pheasant terrine, caramelized parsnip, Brussels sprout, Asian pear, and black truffle. Phew… we’re hungry already.

Forage Restaurant
Forage Restaurant is open for Christmas dinner and serving up a prix fixe feast. At $45.00 per person, we’re pretty sure guests will be more than impressed by Chef Whittaker’s creations that use locally sourced, organic products whenever possible. Book your spot for either a 5pm, 6pm, or 8pm seating while available.
