We’ve got your Vancouver weekend events covered and loaded up our list with some top picks guaranteed to satisfy. Be it a bit of theatre you’re after, an infusion of comedy, a trip to a beer festival, or Ozzie Day celebrations – Vancouver’s got plenty of events up for offer.
The PuSh Festival
The PuSh Festival is back and in full swing. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to support local performing artists at one of the many productions taking place around town. A signature Vancouver event running for three consecutive weeks, the festival is robust with a variety of different shows that “push” boundaries.

Winter Farmers Market
As always, we want you to be healthy while having fun. We suggest you stock up on local in-season goods by popping by the Winter Farmers Market at Nat Bailey Stadium. With hundreds of regional farmers, artisans, bakers, and more entrepreneurs on hand showcasing their goods, you can be a true Vancouverite and support small businesses.
Central City Winter Cask Festival
Beer lovers will lap up the news that this weekend marks the return of the Central City Winter Cask Festival. Head over with your growler in-hand and fill up on great brew, food, music, and plenty more this Saturday. With 32 breweries participating this year, it’s guaranteed to be a ton of fun. Oh, and leave the car at home for this one – Central City Winter Cask Festival is a quick walk from the Surrey Central Station and a direct Skytrain ride to downtown Vancouver via the ExpoLine.
Alicia Tobin’s ‘Come Draw With Me’
Add a little artistic humour to your weekend and check out Alicia Tobin’s ‘Come Draw With Me.’ Presented by Hot Art Wet City, score a laugh as you get some of Tobin’s comedic critiques of your very own five-minute drawings (she’s ruthless – so check your ego). Stick around after and catch some live stand-up comedy courtesy of special guests.

Street Food City
We’ve sung Dine Out Vancouver Festival’s praises aplenty… but we haven’t yet plugged one of our favourite events that takes place as part of this annual food-centric celebration. Street Food City is back and is the best opportunity you’ll have to indulge in a variety of Vancouver’s street food carts at one convenient location (the Vancouver Art Gallery). Be sure to check it out this Sunday starting at 11am until 5pm and bring your appetite — you’ll need it.
Ozzie Day at the Anza Club
Celebrate Ozzie Day at the Anza Club this Sunday. It’s the perfect excuse to get rowdy and down one-too-many Foster’s beers! They’ll have plenty of music, their traditional Triple J Countdown, meat pies (of course), and more libations to keep you satiated and slow moving for Monday.
