With no set menu and a daily/seasonally changing spread of treats to serve the vegan and macrobiotic community, you won’t find any deep fryers at this Yonge Street vegetarian staple. One of the first restaurants to lead the charge towards vegetarian friendly offerings, they’ve been in the game since 1993.

They post up their daily specials… uh… on the daily, and there’s always something noshworthy to note. If you find yourself west of the Toronto equilibrium and aren’t one to manhandle a major meat sandwich, this veggie friendly Junction restaurant is a prime spot.

If you’re in a hurry and have an appetite for the healthy, then this Queen West take-out spot is the epicenter of awesome. Locally sourced, all-organic plant powered nutrition is what Feed Good Guru stands for.

Ethnic and Earthy
Annapurna Vegetarian Restaurant
The true original, this Bathurst Street restaurant has been serving mountains of mouth-wateringly delicious vegetarian cuisine since 1974. Claiming to be the oldest vegetarian restaurant in Ontario/Toronto, Annapurna may look a little weathered from the outside, but their food is nothing but fresh, flavourful, and fantastic.
