Caribana 2019
Date: August 1st – August 4th
Location: Around Toronto
Caribana is a Caribbean-inspired celebration that started in 1967. It is one of North America’s largest cultural festival. This event attracts every audience to join in the Caribana themed parties in clubs and on the streets across Toronto. The Grand Parade will be on August 3rd and will march along Lake Shore Blvd. Nightlife events and parties take place all weekend as well. Embrace the fun, artistic, and vibrant Caribbean culture!

Toronto Rum Festival
Date: August 4th, 12:00pm – 7:00pm
Location: West Island at Ontario Place
The Toronto Rum Festival is a daytime carnival that will showcase various Rums of the Caribbean as part of the Caribana festivities. A newer addition to Toronto’s event calendar, this festival is presented by D’Bandit Entertainment and the Festival Management Committee. Be prepared for a true Caribbean atmosphere with live entertainment, competitions, and the sights, sounds, and tastes of the Caribbean!
Toronto Food Truck Festival
Date: August 2nd – August 5th
Times: August 2nd: 5:00pm – 10:00pm, August 3rd: 12:00 pm – 10:00pm, August 4th and 5th: 12:00pm – 8:00pm
Location: Woodbine Park
Ready for another year of some delicious food and cold drinks, then hit up the annual Toronto Food Truck Festival. Enjoy some live talent, eating competitions, cold drinks, and yummy food. Admission to the Festival is free!

VELD Music Festival
Date: August 3rd – August 4th
Location: Downsview Park, 1-35 Carl Hall Road
VELD will hold its 8th annual music festival at Downsview Park this weekend! This music-filled and internationally acclaimed festival is presented by INK Entertainment and showcases revered artists in Dance Music and Hip-Hop. With an outstanding line-up featuring Cardi B, Kygo, Skrillex, and Tiesto, plus an additional 30 other acts, this is one action-packed festival! Prepare for 2 days of music, drinks, and good vibes.
Rogers Cup
Date: August 3rd – August 11th
Location: Aviva Centre at York University
The Rogers Cup is an upcoming tennis tournament presented by National Bank, that showcases the top tennis players. Played outdoors, it will be the 139th edition for the men and the 128th edition for the women of the Canadian Open. This tournament is also a part of the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 of the 2019 ATP World Tour. The women’s event is held in Toronto, while the men’s is held in Montreal. If you want to see some top athletes compete in your backyard, grab your best outfit and head to the Aviva Centre!
OVO Fest
Date: August 4th – 5th

While OVO Fest may have skipped last year, it is back for 2019! OVO will be held at Toronto’s Budweiser Amphitheatre Stage on the 4th and 5th. August 4th will feature B2K, Chingy, Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, Mario, Bobby V, and Pretty Ricky. On August 5th, Drake will perform along with some special guests.
