Canadian Actor and Toronto-native, Dan Levy, took to Twitter to share his opinion on the best vegan sandwiches in The 6ix. The star and creator of the award-winning TV show Schitt’s Creek, seems to be a huge fan of the vegan chicken sandwich that is being served at Stefano’s Sandwiches. The plant-based restaurant worked in collaboration with television personality and former Discovery Channel host Ziya Tong to create the mouthwatering sandwich.

The vegan fried chicken sandwich is made with vegan chicken from Barcelona-based brand Heura. Then it’s breaded in Tong’s secret spice recipe, and topped with vegan mayonnaise, lettuce, and pickles on house-made ciabatta bread. It’s pretty obvious to us already why this is Levy’s favourite sandwich– it sounds delicious!
Stefano’s is serving up an amazing menu of comfort food for the conscious eater. Coming from the team behind Ufficio, the vegan and pescatarian Italian restaurant, these vegan sandwiches are no joke. Aside from the fried chicken, other options include an all-day breakfast sandwich, vegan deli turk’y, vegan filet-o-fish and vegan corn’d beef. Ufficio has also brought some plant-based pasta and other Italian dishes to Stefano’s including spaghetti with vegan calamari, vegan rapini and garlic focaccia. You may have been missing Italian food if you’re vegan, but Stefano’s Sandwiches has come to make your plant-based Italian dreams come true!
