Didn’t make it to New York Fashion Week because you were grounded by TIFF? Fear not, sartorially-inclined Torontonians, as our very own World MasterCard Fashion Week has just announced their dates!
Running Monday, October 21st to Saturday, October 26th, the event will be launching Fashion Saturday for the first time, offering the latest from IMG’s fashion portfolio. Presented by the lovely people at BMO, it will give us common folk a chance to peek inside the inner workings of Canada’s leading fashion event. It’ll include a curated “Spring 2014 Highlights Fashion Show” on the runway, a Designer Pop-Up Market of one-of-a-kind Canadian designed pieces, and access to the Fashion environment with DJs, hair and make-up stations, as well as VIP style food and drinks. The line-up for this year’s fashion week features everything from Canadian talents like HD Homme, Christopher Bates, and Montrealer Mélissa Nepton to big store brands like RUDSAK, Target, and Joe Fresh.
