The fellas over on View the VIBE’s sister (or shall we say “brother”) publication, Gent’s Post also owned and operated by Stamina Group, are here to introduce you to a whole new series. Taking their much raved about Gent’s Talk interviews to a whole new level, with amazing access….the Gent’s Talk podcast series!
#GentsTalk is a podcast series featuring celebrity guests, experts and other gentlemen of different walks of like, to discuss all things masculinity–and what it means to be a man in today’s world. A year in the making and we’re excited beyond belief to finally see it all coming together!
Our objective at Gent’s Post is to redefine masculinity for the modern man. You may be wondering what that means and it’s a great question. For as far back as we can all remember, men have played a ‘role’ in society, at work and at home. Men were always defined by how strong they were but that usually meant not showing emotion and not dealing with our mental health. We believe that masculinity and the definition of “being a man” needs to change. Men are suffering, need guidance and it’s time to remove the stigmas, stereotypes and toxicity that revolves around the “traditional man.” We want to bridge the gap between the gents and credible information on how to become a better man.

To do just that, enter our newly produced GENT’S TALK podcast series, episode 1:
Episode 1 of the Gent’s Talk podcast series, featuring none other than legendary comedian right from the outskirts of our own backyard, Russell Peters, dropped today on July 4th! We had the pleasure of sitting down with Russell Peters at the Staples Studio University location to discuss and record variety of topics, including some of his darker moments, what he did to help dig himself out of that mentally defeating hole, and more.
Gent’s Talk is lead by some of the amazing team behind Gent’s Post, including our associate editor, Samir Mourani as the host, supported by two of our regular contributors, Ayman Hbeichi and Matthew Chapman as co-hosts to help shed light on these topics that don’t get enough attention, and add varying perspectives. We strongly believe that as men, we must collectively open up the dialogue surrounding masculinity, driving change and awareness around what is toxic masculinity.
This podcast is a mixture of interviews with some of the leading Gents of various industries, sharing their stories, and what we like to call “The Gent’s Segment.” On the Gent’s Segment, Samir, joined by Ayman and Matthew will dive deep into what a Gent wants, craves, and wanders for.
As previously mentioned, on the first episode, Samir is joined by Russell Peters as our very first guest and we’re stoked to announce that following that will be none other than the man taking all the spotlight on representing Canadian soccer on a global stage at the upcoming cup….Jonathan Osorio. For those of you who don’t know, Jonathan is a professional soccer player who plays midfield for Toronto FC and as well as the Canadian men’s national soccer team headed to Qatar for the FIFA World Cup later this year!
