Now ain’t that a sight. It seems as though long gone are the days of the cupcake craze and instead we’ve come to a time of doughnut domination. This doughnut, aptly named Old Dirty Bastard, from Portland’s Voodoo Doughnuts is proof of just that. It’s a mean lookin’ thang made with oreos and peanut butter atop a raised yeast doughnut, fit for only those with the sweetest of teeth.
Your average Tim Horton’s doughnuts have absolutely nothing on the baked goods coming out of Voodoo Doughnuts. Check out their full list of doughnuts served and you’ll see what we mean when we talk about doughnut domination. They’ve got everything from their Memphis (fried dough with banana chunks and cinnamon covered in a glaze with chocolate frosting, peanut butter, peanuts and chocolate chips on top!) to their Maple Blazer Blunt Doughnut (raised yeast doughnut rolled into a blunt and dusted with cinnamon sugar; the tip is dipped in maple frosting and red sprinkle embers). It’s doughnut bliss, that’s for sure.
