Last Friday, the Canada’s National Ballet School hosted its annual fundraising gala at The Carlu, themed the “Casablanca Gala“. Running for 54 years, Canada’s National Ballet School is the only ballet school in North America that provides professional training, academic instructions and residential programs all in one campus. The gala, presented by TD Bank Financial Group, aimed to raise $850,000 in efforts to help financially support the next generation of great dancers and performers. The evening was jammed with Canadian socialites, VIPs, and the who’s who of the art world, all there to support this great cause. The best part of the evening had to be the beautiful performance showcased by school’s talented students. The gala’s co-chairs, Juanita Montalvo and Stephen Delaney did an exceptional job at showcasing North America’s finest ballet school. There’s nothing like a gala in support of the arts. Our friend and famed photographer, Ryan Emberley, was there to capture the evening’s guests dressed in 20’s themed fashion while drinking the evening’s signature “karma” cocktails…
