Ontario Oyster Festival 2015
Carpe Shuck’em!
The Ontario Oyster Festival 2015 (quite dramatically) pays homage to the Great Fire of Rome, which took place on July 19 1950 years ago. Enjoy wine from Cave Springs and Pares Balta, beer from a wide variety of breweries—such as Amsterdam, Creemore, Beau’s, Sierra Nevada, Neustad, and Steamwhistle—and of course, lots of food (Lobster! Gazpacho! Oysters!).
As for the entertainment, there’ll be music, “Chariot Races” and “The Javelin” to test your skills, and the finest Shuckers in Ontario vying to become the Ontario Oyster Shucking Champion. Veni, Vidi, Vici.
