With warmer weather right around the corner, we are looking forward to spending a sunny Sunday morning, strolling down Queen West, searching for the BEST cup of coffee. Even with the current restrictions, some of our favourite spots are rocking patios or are available for takeout and delivery. Oh, and did I mention? Some of these Queen Street West cafes have patios as well.

Café 23

If you haven’t tried Café 23’s seasonal coffee menu… all I can say is you’re missing out. This café has a variety of ethically sourced beans to choose from, which pair perfectly with their delicious pastries and St-Viateur Sesame bagels. Café 23 also has a patio filled with greenery. It’s the perfect little spot to enjoy your morning coffee.

Café Neon

Café Neon is another great Queen St. West café that you absolutely need to check out. This versatile café has a range of classic coffees, but I recommend choosing one of the 11 teas on the menu. Café Neon also has a variety of options for breakfast. And if that isn’t enough, you can even order your groceries from the Neon Commissary.

HotBlack Coffee

HotBlack coffee is an OG when it comes to Queen St. West cafe. This is just one of the three HotBlack locations around the city, and a great option for coffee along Queen West. They make a mean cortado, and don’t forget to pick up a bite while you’re there. Located right by Osgoode Station, this is the perfect spot to spot for a coffee on the go!

The Library Specialty Coffee

The Library Specialty Coffee has the best artisanal coffee along Queen St. West. Plus, another café with a seasonal menu for us to sip our way through! Their coffee is delicious, and you can even get yourself a fancy coffee roaster while you’re there! Definitely a must-try café on Queen.

Fix Coffee + Bikes

Doubling as a Bike Shop/café, Fix Coffee + Bikes is serving their coffee from their walk-out window at Gladstone and Queen. The perfect destination for a pitstop on your weekend bike ride.
