On Thursday, November 27, Toronto’s America Restaurant couldn’t ignore our southern neighbours’ pilgrim holiday and, to celebrate, hosted a lovely Thanksgiving dinner for a few select media and VIPs. The fantastic turkey dinner, created by Executive Chef Anthony Walsh, was both delicious and beautiful to the eye. Guests including Suzanne Boyd, Mary Symons, Tracy Moore, and more were joined by owner Charles Khabouth and enjoyed a very memorable dinner. Even in the wake of the shocking Globe & Mail review, the experience was fantastic and far from what the famous writer depicts. We were amongst the 50 or so guests and yes, we will be back.
