By day, Dr. Cindy Wahler works on Bay Street, rubbing elbows with senior executives in the area of leadership and talent development. She’s a published author and doctor and has appeared on several podcasts as a psychologist and expert in human behaviour. She does important work but Dr. Wahler needed something to fulfill her creative side. So, she launched Bite Me Cookie, offering her carefully baked sweet treats to the Toronto masses.
Dr. Wahler launched Bite Me Cookie as a creative outlet, but it has since expanded and garnered a ton of success. Her company has expanded to offer more sweet treats like truffle brownies, cheesecake bars, toffee explosion squares and even sweet popcorn. Regular menu items include fairy dust cookies, cookies n’ cream cookies, dulce de leche cheesecake squares and even a cookie pizza. Gluten-free options are also available. Bite Me Cookie’s Instagram also offers a selection of special menu items available for purchase.
While Dr. Wahler acknowledges that Instagram’s famous gooey cookies are all the rage right now, her tried-and-true, flavourful options are the better option for dessert lovers in the long run. Bite Me Cookie’s creations are less messy, better for sharing, and ideal for big events. Dr. Wahler’s baking success has seen her cater corporate events and private parties, where individual, easily portable cookies are far more practical than their gooey counterparts.

Bite Me Cookie is a completely online business, with only the website and Instagram as sales platforms. And, while Dr. Wahler also acknowledges that the baked goods industry exploded during the pandemic, it’s extremely difficult not to acknowledge the bursts of flavour Bite Me Cookie’s creations offer. The proof of the quality is in the recipe.
